is what I started out to say. Seriously, this is about the whole game being played. The Tar Sands is just one instance, but "instances" abound in this world.

For instance, the FDA busted a testing lab which certified drugs as okay for use. But their tests were fraudulent. The FDA kept that news from the public, kept the drugs on the market, while they -- finally -- do their own tests.

I can't remember if was under Clinton or under King Bush the Insane, but somewhere along the line all the politcos agreed that the FDA should let companies do their own testing. Instead of wasting money on the FDA doing it. After all, what incentive would drug companies possibly have to lie?

The health threat was potentially serious: About 100 drugs, including sophisticated chemotherapy compounds and addictive prescription painkillers, had been approved for sale in the United States at least in part on the strength of Cetero Houston's tainted tests.
This is in addition to all the other drugs we know caused major, and vast, health problems, like Vioxx.

The politicians kow-tow to the money, together they hire the most developed and ubiquitous agitation/propaganda machine in all human history, and the people get all isolated in their cubes and home and their cubes at work. If they even have either anymore.

    See? The System works.

Actual Democrats is the surest, quickest. route to More Democrats
