  •  Each Democrat can run an ad saying that they are (0+ / 0-)

against the Chained CPI.  It is easy to debunk.

Each individual Republican, on the othe hand, acutally VOTED FOR Ending Medicare by turning it into a Voucher program.

    •  So it's a wash. (7+ / 0-)

Ad against ad. "Both sides do it."

And the uninformed voter ("who to believe?") throws up his hands and stays home.

the Chained CPI but the Republican VOTED to turn Medicare into a Voucher program.

Besides Obama proposed chained CPI since 2011 and he wasn't attacked on it.   Democrats can easily say that Republicans proposed it first.

put it in writing....which is why they begged him too for four years by pushing the meme he wasn't serious about it, with help from pundits.

And the solution you propose....write it down.

          #facepalm...

the appropriate use of Democratic ad funds is to say why the party's President and de-facto leader is wrong...

      AND....

fight against the DNC who won't be able to push the message.

I see why Democrats lose all in mid-terms if this is what passes for conventional wisdom.

    •  Ads (0+ / 0-)

cost money. Those are ads they didnt have to run before they have to run now. Furthermore, merely by talking about the fact that they oppose chained CPI, they are associating themselves with the idea in people's minds. The Repubs now have control over what the discussion is about. Why would Democrats want the 2014 discussion to be about how they oppose something they are supposed to oppose anyway? Its called agenda control and messaging, educate yourself quickly please.
