      are an independent voice.  It is only is one assumes that Democrats must agree with the president on everything that there is a problem.

      Most voters will be fine with a candidate that says I support President Obama's policies when I think they are right for my constituents and oppose when I think they are not.

      As for "figting" Obama, I am not fighting Obama.  I'm opposing a policy in a budget proposal.  

      Voters easily understand that.

      So your slogan is incorrect and yes, Dems easily can put distance between themsleves and the budget proposal of Obama.
