    when you say the nice part about living where you live is the nearest trail is at the end of your street. I think the same thing applies here in the Burqy, only it's obviously not SE Utah's plethora of highly scenic and tranquil places to hike. Still, we're right on the cusp of the Colorado Plateau, and that gets as close to heaven-on-earth as most other places far afield from same. Nice bailiwick you chosen, by the way, for your profession. Neuroscientist credentials are indeed laudable. I once had a student on a field institute in your field, only her specialty was neurobiology, I think she called it. Fascinating field. And Bernie Taylor, another student, who wrote a tome called "Biological Time" taught me more than I ever taught him (and I got paid to run the trip. . .go figure). Enjoy Sunday's hike. . .may adventure and joy follow in your foot steps.
