one that had this problem. See Bush, George W.

Lack of experience in governing is probably the root of his problems.

experience. Not that governor of Texas is a major governing position - the lt gov actually has more power - but 6 years should have taught him something besides 'heckuva job, Browny'.

(Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)

      •  Yeah (0+ / 0-)

but Gov. of Texas was ALL he had. Maybe if he had been in the house or senate along with being Gov. he would have learned something but then again maybe not. Part of his problem was that he did not want to learn anything.

    •  Yeah, only somehow he got kicked upstairs. (0+ / 0-)

I'd pity Obama for this monumental fuck-up if I weren't so goddamned angry.

"kicked upstairs" so to speak for a variety of reason mostly he was lucky to have been running in 2008 after George W. Bush and then Romney had to sign on to all those crackpot Tea Party ideas to get through the primary. Had Romney been allowed to run as as Moderate Mitt the Gov. of Ma he might have well won. And to add to his problems he picked Paul Ryan as his VP. That has to go down as one of the worst VP picks ever.

    •  Bush got most of what he wanted (0+ / 0-)

Tax cuts, wars, fringe nutball judges, every nominee confirmed, including John Ashcroft!

It was only after he got into the Terri Schiavo kerfuffle and tried to destroy Social Security, that the majority got tired of his shit. Then of course Katrina happened...
