    I'm assuming she has traditional Medicare for Parts A and B? The premium for Part B only went up $5 for 2013, unless she makes over $85K and is subject to the higher income premiums?

    This would simply come out of her SS payments.

      I have never heard of such a thing. She may be getting a letter like I did telling me they were changing my Part D provider because of cheaper drug cost to the State. That change just a few months ago. They still sent me a provider at no cost to me except co-pays.
