    if the House even holds a vote on it.
    With almost $600 billion in new taxes attached to the chained CPI, plus more money for education, less money to the Pentagon, cutting direct cash payments to farmers, along with some subsidies, increasing funding for the EPA and increases in funding for Dept. of Labor, HUD, etc., there's no way the Republicans will vote for it.
    I've already heard from my representative on this, he was horrified (granted, he's a nutcase):

    Even if President Obama had submitted his budget to Congress on time (the statutory deadline came and went more than nine weeks ago), I would still give it a failing grade because it increases taxes, increases spending, increases the debt, and NEVER BALANCES.
