Andre P (and I can never spell that Ruskie's last name (though he is a fellow field institute instructor) likely will be able to point a finger or two in the right direction for me to do some more sleuthing on this topic. So will Wayne Ranney, also a fellow instructor. Slab suction and slab pull should, as you pointed out, also get a Google search hot to trot on the info. Would like to see what the current profs in this line of work are thinking/doing. Thanks, again, for your help and insight on this subject, janislav. I take it you are actively working/teaching in your field, geology something or other???
