    personal pain be damned.

My father was a detective, in his day he was rather well known in fact. I have old copies of True Detective with him on the cover. He was good at his job.

To my knowledge he never fired his weapon on duty. I remember when I stayed with him (divorce shit) that it was always with him. He used to talk about tragedies like this one with compassion and pity.

Maybe he was compassionate about it because when he was little he shot and killed his cousin. It was the same old story, found grandpa's gun and played with it. His cousin had for a first name what my dad had as a middle name, a daily reminder.

You notice that my dad didn't run from guns after that horrible thing, he wanted to be a cop damn near from birth and was one, all through WWII and after.

This is a sad event. I thought we had moved past public shaming, guess not around here.

because police are horrible people. how many abuses of human rights did your saintly pop observe and turn a blind eye to during his career ? think of it this way. let's say you have a kid. i am a foot taller and 150 pounds heavier than this kid. i can easily overpower the child. if i knock this kid to the ground and violently have forced sex with them i am a rapist, right? And if i hold the kid down and let my friends do the raping i am still a rapist ,right.  and if i lock the kid in a cage with my rape happy friends and walk away sniggering what am i? a rapist. cops are fully aware of the likely outcome of arresting someone. so what are they? oh,let me guess. if those criminals hadn't done their horrid crimes (mostly minor possession/low level dealing) they wouldn't be in there. so they deserve it. cuz some people deserve rape.  like if a teenage girl gets super drunk and passes out she deserves it-underage drinking is,after all, a crime.  hr away. just explain how what i am saying isn't true

And criminal charges if there was a criminal violation.
