And she'd have no chance against Hillary, though a Warren challenge might do some good in by forcing Hil to take more progressive positions. If Hillary doesn't run, then she might be a contender.

    •  You mean force her to pretend (6+ / 0-)

to take more progressive positions? Because that is what it would be.

How many more years of pretend can this country survive?

Once it's on the table, it's always on the menu.

And if Warren keeps this up she will be well known as a fighter. Do we really need to recycle the Clintons again? Why not reward someone who is doing their job right? Are we afraid of fighting the establishment? Have the people here keep pointing out that the Dem party has sold out, why not take this opportunity to support someone outside of the party norm and maybe get a fighter not a compromiser.

I totally agree with you and chuckvw, but unless there is a massive base revolt and party leadership is replaced, then we are likely to get Hillary or some other neolib as the "most viable" Dem candidate on our limited menu of choices.  Yes, I'd love to see Warren run, and would support her any way I could,  though I think if she did, the party leadership (as it stands) would do everything it could to smear, disregard, and sink her.
