    Given the makeup of his district, he's going to have a hell of a time even in a midterm electorate. I mean, he's a member of the Tea Party Caucus for crying out loud! Hard to get people to give to someone who looks like a sure loser.

    •  Looking at the fundraising it seems that the Repub (0+ / 0-)

      Republicans are conceding some races. It seems that they want not to challenge Democratic incumbents in D+ and also it seem that they are conceding some race with Republican incumbent.

      Also the Republican money is not friend of the less radical Republicans.

      If I'm not wrong S Collins will have also a weak fundraising.

        Then again, a lot of the surprisingly bad quarters are being had by NY Republicans, who are just a bunch of lily-livered godless union-lovin' RINOs to the likes of Koch, Adelson and their ilk.

          Clear examples: IA-Sen, CO-Sen, MN-Sen, NH-Sen, OR-Sen...

          But even with some of their own incumbents, if they know not that CA-31 is one of their weakest points, and I see not a serious defense of NY-19 and CA-21 (just three of their five D+ seats).
