    ...is like being the only sober person in the car.

    It happened to me once.  Guy offered to give me a ride home and I accepted...then realized he was drunk, stoned, probably tripping.  I huddled in fear in the back seat of the car as he drove past the local police station at double the speed limit, shouting obscenities...then hurled a beer bottle out the window.

    That's the closest analogy I've been able to find yet to being a climate-change focused environmental blogger.  

    Freedom isn't "on the march." Freedom dances.

      lonely Cassandra sometimes. It's interesting that you write "incapacity to imagine the terrifying realities."

      Unable to imagine something that is really happening? I tend to link imagining to dreaming and fantasy. But it's true some people simply cannot hold that vision of real destruction in their minds. They are incapable of it or they turn away.
