    ... and he is followed by a Republican president and Republican majorities in both the House and the Senate, history will remember his presidency as an even better, more hopeful, and more optimistic time in our history than it might otherwise.

    If, on the other hand, the Obama Administration is followed by another Democrat who works towards actual liberal goals and does a decent job, that sort of tarnishes the legacy of the Obama years, doesn't it?

      ...would likely just work to further Obama's legacy and cement his achievements. Think of Truman and Bush 41.

      I repeatedly claimed that Obama would never propose cuts to social security. I was wrong. Then again, I also claimed, repeatedly, that Rick Perry would win the 2012 Election, and that The Supreme Court would overturn Health Care Reform.
