  •  The manifesto can be just as confusing (4+ / 0-)

    for people who don't know what the arguments between different groups were at the time. There's a lot in there that can make you think it's not making any sense.

    If debt were a moral issue then, lacking morals, corporations could never be in debt.

      That's why I suggest skipping the section that compares different communist platforms, for new readers.  It's written to address political struggles at the time and aren't particularly relevant for our time.  Unless you're getting into the positive political project that may result from Marx's writings, then Marx's summary of the various factions may be of use to you.
