one possibility (that has not been ruled out, by you or anybody else) is that this is some deranged lone wolf who's concerned about Precious Bodily Fluids and is more or less apolitical. That does happen, you know. See also: Aurora, Newtown, Tuscon, etc etc.

That doesn't really fall under the rubric of "terrorism" as the term is usually defined. So the President is only being responsible. CNN is just full of shit.

    •  I still think he should have said (0+ / 0-)

"this has all the appearances of being a terrorist act"

Nothing disputable there, and mitigates the rwp obsession with an apparent avoidance of the "t" word.

      •  You make the common mistake of assuming (3+ / 0-)

that the TP Beast can be appeased. It doesn't matter WHAT Obama said or didn't say. It doesn't matter what Obama does or doesn't do. To the TP Beast and its political slaves, nothing Obama does is right. The birth certificate saga is the EVERYTHING saga...Obama can follow a TPers proposed plan to the letter and will still be dogged by idiots screaming that he's wrong.

The last time the Republicans were this radical, they were working to elect former slaves to Congress. What a difference a century and a half makes!

Especially when they have all the talking points ready to go?
I still don't understand why he didn't say something like what I suggested?  Just because it still wouldn't have been enough?

          •  Hell, I don't know what Obama is thinking! (0+ / 0-)

I still think he shouldn't have actually gotten the "long form" released...his earlier release of a document that would have been more than sufficient proof of live birth in the United States of America (and therefore proof of citizenship) for anyone else should have been more than enough.
