  •  Grief here. (8+ / 0-)

I cannot imagine what it would be like to try to finish a marathon (I have done that a few times) and have somebody try to blow me up while I was doing it. The finish line is supposed to be about accomplishment and satisfaction and joy.  My heart goes out to all of the runners, the spectators, the runners' families, those who lost loved ones, the injured, the first responders, the medical people, the race organizers. My grief is all the greater because I know that fewer than1% of the population finishes a marathon, and that there's a bond between those who have.
