    why would you want to support cuts now? Early cuts make later cuts easier.

      I'll be happy to discuss facts with you but I cannot do that if you don't know what it is I said.

        Here's your argument as I read it:

        "I don't like chained-CPI, but since no chained-CPI opponent ever proposes anything else, the chained-CPI supporters are the only people serious about the future of SS."

        Between now and 2033 there are two choices: cut benefits or raise revenues.

        Your choice which you want to support.
