Sorry, I don't agree.  It's inappropriate, it's too soon, and it's wrong to speculate that we KNOW who were the culprits.  We don't know.  And it's wrong to say we do.

I didn't see anything about culprits. Not sure what you are talking about?

That's what all the discussion about appropriateness was about - whether it was responsible to speculate about the identity or motives of the culprits who planted the bombs.

        •  thing is, it's natural. (0+ / 0-)

almost every single person I've run into in the last few days starts to talk about their speculations.

you don't take it seriously. you know it's just your brain trying to make sense of the unfathomable and grasp for a little control.

but, down below someone says "conspiracy of bombers", I have no idea what that's about. I saw nothing like that.

I mostly see people wondering if it's domestic or not and trying to gather if there are clues which suggest one or the other.

but, everyone is really just rambling in their shock. and the thing is, when people are in shock and recovering from trauma, it actually hurts them further to tell them they can't speak what's going on in their mind. they have to be able to let it all roll out.

Nothing is uglier than shunning. And that's what HRs do. To see someone express feeling hurt and another say, "oh, boo hoo. you deserve it." It's just so ugly, when what the world needs is beauty.
I am sometimes the first to HR when I feel it is needed. But maybe think it over a little longer in this diary?

This better be good. Because it is not going away.

    •  Uprated - you shouldn't be HRd for opining, (0+ / 0-)

nor is your viewpoint offensive. Just unpopular today.

    •   if speculation becomes unwanted on this (0+ / 0-)

site, there will be mighty little discourse.

Maybe about 0.1% of current levels . ..

    •  after all that I wrote, the first person to (0+ / 0-)

comment cannot stop himself from 'splaining.

The lack consideration for what I requested in my own diary is noted.

Write your own diary about what you think people shouldn't process in the aftermath of trauma.

I thought I would come back and check comments and see if I could be here. You made it clear I can't.

I'll be away from DKos for a while now. Thanks.
