Whoever wrote that was actually capable of reflection.  The right wing echo chamber has gotten darker and darker and it may well reach a point where people who aren't very smart and who can't take it anymore decide to act on it.

There is a history of that happening and anyone with their eyes open can see it.

I think that this incident in Boston may well have at least been encouraged a bit by the reckless hate mongering of the right.  It remains to be seen who did this or why, but we may see a relationship between the dark thoughts of someone and the dark thought projected by all the fear and hate mongers.

I hope that someone with a classic sense of conservative responsibility begins to rein in this deluge of stupid and reckless rhetoric.

hope that the idiots who have no constructive and creative solutions but only look to tear down will not win the day.

there is anyone like this in the current climate of the Right Wing

I hope that someone with a classic sense of conservative responsibility begins to rein in this deluge of stupid and reckless rhetoric.

this was an Islamic terrorist, they have been able to leverage the right wing toward their desired ends (even if those are simply deflection).

      Boston
      Tax day
      Patriots day
      "Right Wing" assumptions

Say it is an Islamic terrorist, or just some other nut. They knew very well that the current right wing rhetoric, its dominance and position in American society, and its general tenor could be used to aid them, even if only in concealment or deflection.

That speaks to the sins of the right wing and its partial complicity here, whether the bomber is actually a right wing American or not.

      •  You really think that Islamic terrorists would (4+ / 0-)

Think about using right wing rhetoric as a shield?  If this were the actions of an Islamic terrorist group, they would have most likely already claimed responsibility.

You may be giving too much credit where credit isn't deserved.

      •  Now Islamic terrorists are playing 11d chess? (6+ / 0-)

        Popular game, apparently.

          that they are Islamic terrorists.

I find it hard to believe in that case that chose that place and that date entirely coincidentally, with no knowledge of the meaning in this country.

People here keep saying "don't speculate about RW groups, it could be an Islamist!"

But within the bounds of everyday reason, then, we then have two explanations:

          - It was a RW group that chose the date and place for obvious reasons

          - It was an Islamic group that chose the date and place with knowledge of its significance in US public discourse, one that exists thanks to RW groups as of late

Either way, RW groups have played a role in the politics of the terror.
