      There was damage from bone spurs on the left side, and the fix which including clearing those out, has been excellent. I was evaluated at 96% recovery which is A-OK with me.

      I presumed there were bone spurs on both sides, and sooner or later the other one would go, requiring the same fix. I was ready to go for surgery instantly, as soon as I got the "torn rotator cuff" diagnosis, and wish I had. Because if it had been in January, I'd be well on the way to recovery now. But normal practice these days is PT first, to try and avoid unnecessary surgery.

      I would have liked to have been fixed before Iceland. But now I'll go ahead and wait till summer. Just means it'll be longer till I have it behind me.

      Mostly, I feel lucky to live in these times, because we have so many fixes available. 100 years ago, those of us with these skeletal issues would just have been stuck somewhere between gimp and cripple.
