    to a degree. However, while I would actually agree that he seems pretty disrespectful to her, I do not extend that to disrespect for the kids. I don't know that either way--and they don't necessarily coincide.

    My ex and I have a decent amount of respect for one another, but I don't love her, and she doesn't love me. We both love our kids. While we get along reasonably well, we wouldn't have much of any kind of relationship with each other if we had no children.

      Miss Argentina happened the night he won the primary and Daddy Sanford shoved the kids onto the stage with her...well, that doesn't sound too respectful to me. It sounds like downright douchebaggery. As does the whole Father's Day Appalachain Trail debacle. And that is just what we KNOW.

      So again, I'm really happy your arrangement works for you and it's what I'd want for my daughter, ideally, but I really hesitate to judge others' situations.
