  •  good at what, exactly? (0+ / 0-)

I am a California Democrat and really am sick of both Boxer and Finestein.  They truly represent what is fundamentally wrong with the Democratic Party.

They are so focused on posturing that they never take a stand, lead the charge or even vote for progressive legislature on the rare times it is possible.

The whole party needs to be re-vamped (again).  OUT with these wishy washy fence sitting do-nothings.  IN with a new generation of unapologetic peoples representatives.

Warren, Grayson, even Dean,  even Franken, et. al.

And where did old Finegold go?  I thought he had some guts but got beat and disappeared - leaving Wisconsin to shit heel Walker and his ilk.

We need to recruit, and elect ONLY candidates that are going to take (and stick to) strong LIBERAL positions.

blah blah - it ain't gonna happen.  We have been sold down the river and Boxer/Finestein are just the house n***rs for our corporate masters.

    •  Russ Feingold started up a progressive PAC (0+ / 0-)

with the intention of bringing attention to key progressive issues. It's called Progressives United - I suggest moseying on over there.

Not to mention that he's pointedly refusing to rule out a 2016 rematch with Johnson, the teabagger who beat him in 2010.

      •  oh, right, started a PAC (0+ / 0-)

like Gore started a TV network.

Way to go "leaders",  that really is where the years of effort and name recognition and policy expertise and political process savvy can REALLY be put to maximum benefit of the country and the people.

Right.  In my view, Feingold, Gore, and others are symptomatic of the fundamental problem with the Democratic Party leadership.  Too ready to compromise on core issues, too ready to fold up their tents and focus on themselves, too ready to NOT LEAD.

Forget them! and the horses they rode in on.

Feinstein, Boxer, Reid, Wasserman-Schultz, Obama and the rest of the capitulation crew that pays lip service to real change HAVE GOT TO GO.

We need real, strong, committed leadership.

        'nuff said.
