    I'm at the Il-WI border and, yes, we already hit the all time rain record for April (7.8" and counting). Flooding everywhere, though the farmers really needed the ground water.

    However, at the other end of the state (Superior WI & Duluth MN)  they have received over 51 inches of snow in April.  That's the all time record for any winter month.  That's more snow just in April than they got all last winter (a warm one). Stilll have 22 inches of ground cover.

    yeah, flooded basements are a pain. Four feet of snow in April is no picnic either.
