Any vendor at a show with a legit business has to have one filled out, just like at a store. The only ones that don't are selling their personal collection and just renting a booth at the show. it’s a personal transaction. The selection is very limited and it's used guns. You obviously have never bought a gun at a gun show.

Look, I’m not against background checks per se, but I’m very against misinformation.

I read a report from the BATF that says otherwise.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy... the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

      •  what says otherwise? (0+ / 0-)

I'd love to see it. I gave you my experiences from about 4 shows I have attended. And it is absolutely true. A licensed  dealer at a gun show or otherwise must run the report on you.

a licensed dealer must run a check.

It's the unlicensed sellers that are the biggest problem. Here's the link - check the BATF report on footnote #18
