    because of his age, the paper not only besmirched his reputation, it could easily affect the rest of his life. possible employers not trusting him. coworkers prejudging. it's not hard to imagine.

    and, Rupert's got the money. he still pays Hannity.

        NYP even defended putting the wrong facts on the front page, without regard to to the facts or reputation of the subject.

        Willful defamation.

        Not a lawyer, but I bet it holds up. A correction or apology is due when a news outlet makes a massive mistake. NYP didn't do that. They basically said we were right to do what we did.
