Feels like more of the same, punish the protesters not the criminals.

Didn't anyone have the good sense to tell the tools of the plutocracy to back off this time and not harass the nationally known gun violence victim families?  Did they not have the good sense to waive the standard procedure for this?  And it shouldn't be standard procedure to detain people who say "shame on you" in the Senate gallery anyway, obviously.

Must make an example out of those who dare to speak out and disrupt the vaunted Senators who don't represent the people.  Send them money, give them your votes, but don't dare protest them when they represent the 1% and the corps instead of representing the people though.  Can't have that!!  Sit there and take it, sheeple.  If you don't, you'll regret it.

Nevermind that the Capitol belongs to the people.  Nevermind that the lawmakers in the Capitol work for us and are there to represent our voices. The only reason they are there is because it's not practical for all citizens to vote on every thing and you can't fit everybody into the building, as in, representative democracy.

Our elected representatives have forgotten who they work for  and what their job is.  So let's ramp up that police state some more, huh, and crack down on the disgruntled masses.  Listen to the people? Follow the will of the people you are there to represent?  Hell no, they can't do that.  After election day is over, the people are irrelevant, maybe even the enemy, until its election season again.
