... are both in my media library (vinyl, VHS, DVD), along with a bunch of others I like.

I wasn't that crazy about Chicago, but I think it was more the storyline that seemed to be sympathetic and favorable to criminals that I didn't care for since I remember the singing and dancing were good (and I do like Richard Gere).  I saw it in a theatre one year for my birthday and if it goes online maybe I'll try to re-watch it to see what turned me off of it.

That last video above with Kate Hudson (she is beautiful and reminds me so much of her mother and Kate's a good dancer) reminded me SO much of clothing styles of the '60s, with the short shorts, go-go boots, guys with suit jackets, skinny neckties, and tight pants - except back in the '60s when The Beatles and other groups were wearing those clothing styles the guys had better hair and were clean-shaven.  (I detest the bedhead look and unshaven faces; Yuk!  Puh-leeze, can that look go away finally???  It's been around too long.)  I don't understand the first video and the second one displays Cruz's sexuality rather nicely.

I found some old movies on YouTube.  Yesterday I watched To Sir, With Love including Lulu's song of the same title) and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, Cover Girl with Rita Hayworth & Gene Kelly, and I have Les Girls in the queue among other old movies I've marked to watch.  I think I have My Fair Lady saved in my favorites file with two different links just in case one is removed for copyright infringement.

With the lack of stupid ads, and the addition of full-length movies (especially old movies, some made before I was even born when scripts were all about the dialogue and storyline, not special effects), and full-series episodes in chronological order for some old favorite shows, I am finding I like YouTube a whole lot now.

Next month I'll be watching the live-streaming of Eurovision's two semi-finals and the final, all from Malmö, Sweden.  I've watched a few of the preview videos from this year's competition and so far I can't find any outstanding acts or songs.  I notice the Eurovision channel has full-length shows from previous shows online now.  Some are quite good, but in the past few years the flashing lights in the background that cover the people up as they shine in the eyes of the audience or viewer is just plainly annoying.  (Annoying & blinding lights are why I quit watching DWTS, even though I did mute most of the show because I don't want the annoying long intro and rehearsal time, just the dance number and judge's comments; I want to see the dancers, not the blinding flashing lights which can give me a headache - otherwise it feels like the flashing lights are there to blind me to viewing a bad dance number.)

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
