    This lockdown sucks. And my preschoolers are getting antsy :-) I wish you and yours safety and blessings. When this is over I'll stand you a drink at Donohue's.

    I should say though in response to teresahill, that it's not just wingnuts who care about civil liberties in times of emergency! I'm not overly thrilled at this massive militarized house-to-house search. And I'm getting annoyed at the fact that they've clearly lost the guy somehow, but nobody wants to acknowledge it.

      that somehow the second suspect has slipped through their fingers, but they don't want to say so.  

      I heard that he jumped into the Mercedes SUV and plowed through the police officers.  Has that vehicle been found abandoned anywhere?

      had broken into a house and taken hostages. If it were my neighborhood, I would want them to search every inch. But to each his own.
