    IF he means an unarmed surveillance drone. I don't want surveillance drones routinely patrolling our skies, but in a situation like this it could be a very helpful adjunct to the ground search. I assume they're using helicopters already, and there's no difference from a privacy standpoint, plus drones are cheaper to operate and don't put the pilot in danger. But then there's the camel's nose, slippery slope argument - once a drone precedent is established, can we trust our law enforcement and politicians not to use that as an excuse for routine surveillance?

    But the Miranda rights quote is just dickish.
