I'm so happy to be living in the what I can only describe as the golden era of American craft brewing.

a new possibility. My go to store now has 400 individual cold bottles to mix and match, not to mention an extensive bomber selection as well of both craft and imports. I just wish I had the time and the money!

But yes, in just a few short years we've had a literal explosion of craft beers and breweries willing to push the boundaries. I just sit back, pour another and savor.

Look, I tried to be reasonable...

...a Bitter Heart Double Black Imperial IPA from Red Hare Brewery of Marietta, Georgia (Atlanta suburb). What an outstanding beer! Exactly what it sounds like, and the best beer I've had in months!

This follows on a string of excellent IPAs I've had recently. IPAs seem to be trendy now, which suits me just fine, as I'm an IPA lover.

We truly live in a golden age of beer generally, and IPAs in particular.
