    Regular police (and FBI) work done in the same way it was done 50 years ago.  Good.

    Suspects identified through public crowdsourced voluntary media collections and regular police collection of info from victims.  Good.

    Suspect found because citizen noticed blood and reported to police.  Good.

    On to the things that didn't actually contribute to identifying or finding the suspect...  Shelter in place for entire city, door to door searches.

    Ok, they didn't work, and weren't needed.  So why should they be part of the 'model'?
