    for the Crusades and the later excesses of Imperial Christian powers, particularly given that overt Crusader rhetoric is still very much in favor within the Religious Right. The worst is the Evangelical pretense of supporting Israel, only in the hope that it will bring on Armageddon by nuking Iran, and then kill all the Muslims.

    So, yes, we can blame Al-Qaeda on the pseudo-Christian theology of hate.

      They get to take responsibility for themselves. We can't justify terror based on the Crusades and goofball thumpers. There is truth to what you say but responsiblity lies with the perps only.
