    ....the right of workers to organize is a fundamental right. Working folks don't have a chance unless they organize, as the old song goes. The fate of the middle class and working poor is tied to unions, and the sooner all in the progressive community recognize that the better.

    BTW, in NY the state constitution protects the right to organize and collectively bargain, and ties those rights to the principle that human labor is not a commodity and should never be treated as such. Article I Section 17. Of course, that runs counter to what many on the right believe--that human labor is a commodity, nothing more.

    Michigan needs to rid itself of Snyder and all his republican cronies. More democrats need to remember that labor is their base.
