    I think the reaction of the Idiot Triad is mostly about dick-swinging and implicitly feminizing the present occupant of the White House as a weakling who doesn't have the nerve to "get the job done."

      I think of them as three trembling Barney Fifes, so terrified they can't wait to surrender their Miranda rights.

      Because giving up our own rights is what we are talking about, because no way the creep won't get convicted--no confession needed.

      And as for getting him to talk about any conspirators, that is accomplished through sophisticated interrogation techniques, not by reading or not reading his rights.  

      Like if the police say "legally you have to tell us everything" he's going to go "oh, in that case, I'll talk."
