    Hate to break it to you, but pissing off the BLM alone does not get you jail time.  You have to break a law.

      law is very "bendable" when you make a joke of authorities. Did you read, above:

      he did. The sentencing Judge explicitly stated that the time was for his failure to adopt a better attitude toward the "system" at any point in time prior to the day of sentencing.

      Sorry, as a lawyer I've seen this sort of thing. If he had the money and energy he could have appealed. The trouble is that it would have taken so long that it would have taken longer than serving time.

        Lawyers work with language all the time so they are careful with it.

        You can get jail time after conviction because you do not show remorse, etc.  but you cannot get convicted without violating the law.

        And, by the way, I don't believe the quote for a moment - if it was true instead of a tendentious paraphrase then the poster would have quoted the judge directly and given us a link to the statement.
