    Then I'm sure you will have no problem with off-site public access monitoring of nuclear plants that would be independent of the power companies.

      The same system, btw, should be put in place for monitoring rare earth mines needed for "green energy" - they have a history of spewing way more radiation far and wide than commercial nuclear power ever has.

        with nary a scratch. Along with a dozen other hurricanes. And operators don't evacuate power plants, they stay and ride it out. Safest place to be in a hurricane is a opposed to the highways and causeways leading away from the coming storm.
