    do my fair share, or at least if I would be if I lived in a state with at least a 'moderate' sales tax, like my sibling does (he pays 6.75, and even has some pretty broad exemptions for necessities, which is very limited here, as you probably know).

    And again, if Dean Baker hadn't divulged that for the median income 'wealthy person' (he gave the example of a couple earning $500,000 annually) their recent 'tax increase' was ONLY 6/10's of One Percent, as a result of the Administration's 'deal,' maybe I wouldn't be so 'bent out of shape.'

    But considering that measly tax increase on 'the wealthy,'  and the Warner Amendment that easily passed the Senate just weeks ago--'Yeah, I think we're getting scr**wed, and royally."  

    And I don't like it. ;-)
