  •  Right, those terrorist like McVeigh and Lanza (7+ / 0-)

have to be stopped! Clearly it's their religion that drove them to murder so many innocents! Oh, wait, they were Christian so there's nothing wrong with their religion. At least according to bigots like you.

There are over 1 billion Muslims in the world, between 3 and 5 million of them live in the US and 99.9999% of them aren't assholes like the Tsarnaev's.

You can't assassinate the character of any of modern conservative. You'd have to find where it was buried, dig it up, resurrect it, then kill it. And killing a zombie isn't really assassination, is it?

    •  Where are the condemnations from Muslims? (0+ / 0-)

Why did none of them report on these guys?

      •  Stop, think about that for a second (9+ / 0-)

Do you honestly think all Muslims are in some sort of club? Yes, there is something in Islam called the umma but it's more like the "brotherhood of man" than some formal entity. The Tsarnaev's weren't going to the mosque on Fridays bragging about how they were going to "kill the infidels". This is some dime-store novel with one-dimensional characters and motives so simple a 3 year old (or Republican Senator) can understand them. They planned this in secret. They were outside the norms of Islam just like abortion clinic bombers are outside the norms of Christianity.

Argh, nothing like dropping a negation to ruin an otherwise fine rant...

      •  And where have condemnations been from Christians (0+ / 0-)

when a Christian does an evil deed?
People like you put Muslims in a completely different category...as if ALL are guilty for the acts of a few.
How about "good Christian" George W. Bush" who murdered hundreds of thousands? Do you care at all that he used Muslim extremism in one country to attack another? Of course not.
Extremism is extremism - and no one who professes to love God, however you worship him/her, should paint ALL followers with a broad brush. Unless you're a moron.

Isn’t it ironic to think that man might determine his own future by something so seemingly trivial as the choice of an insect spray. ~ Rachel Carson, Silent Spring ~

from a report from Politico (here's a link to the story: Tamerlan Tsarnaev mosque outbursts described) --

This is about the older brother, Tamerlan, who's dead now:

In January, the mosque said Tsarnaev had a similar outburst.

This time, the sermon included praise for Martin Luther King Jr., and this time Tsarnaev shouted, calling the preacher a “non-believer” and “hypocrite” who was “contaminating people’s minds.” Congregants shouted back at him, telling him to leave, and he did.

Later, volunteer leaders of the mosque met with him and told him that he would not be welcome at service if he interrupted again. The group said he continued attending sometimes and did not cause any more problems.

So, ordinary people at the mosque shouted back at him. And people from the mosque's leadership basically told him to shut the fuck up.

Does that count as condemnations from Muslims?

It took me all of three seconds to find this condemnation, and there are lots more where that came from.
