    Franken needs to keep his powder dry.

    He has to "pay his dues".

    But to be clear, I didn't mean I wanted Al Franken to become an entertainer or a "joke". What I mean is since irony and humor can be very effective in politics, especially in the current media environment, I hope Al Franken can, some day, use his talents as a humorist and a communicator to help the liberal/progressive agenda.

      target and he has to be a "serious person," especially considering just how close his race was with Coleman.
