    There are really high-end law enforcement drones that are bring equipped for arms.

    But the guy in swivel chair would be in touch with the tactical commander.  He would have the same "go" from his superiors.  No one is advocating just a bunch of drones flying around that the operators can use to do whatever they want.  ..the hell?  

    It would play out in court the same way it would play out in court today if an innocent was killed.  The person operating the drone would be just as responsible as the person operating the 9mm handgun every cop carries on his of her hip.

    "Cops shoot an innocent bystander" is already news today that will wind up in a civil, possibly criminal, case in court.  "Cops shoot an innocent bystander with a drone mounted weapon" would be the same.

    My concern is the policies, legal protections and training that goes into the deployment of lethal force, not the technology used to deliver the bullet.
