    I was reading the Bobbsey Twins at 6 or 7, Nancy Drew a bit later. I started reading adult SF and mysteries at about 9, but also continued reading juvenile books - a lot of Heinlein and Norton. Also some older series - Arthur Ransome, Edward Eager. I don't think I'd much care to revisit the Stratemeyer books, but still read some children's and juvenile literature with pleasure.
