  •  I would posit that a significant problem (24+ / 0-)

that we face today is that there are so many critical problems occuring simultaneously in society that it is almost overwhelming for those of us who attempt to try to keep up reasonably well with them all.  They are all extremely important.  And that is the over-arching problem.  Personally I can't in good conscience not be concerned with all of the attacks on democratic processes, civil rights, the implementation of law and order, science on all sorts of different fronts, education, bigotry, and those are just quick off the top of my head concerns.

I really do wish that there were some way to address more strongly all the issues, and most are inter-related, with some progressive plans.

One problem with otherwise careful planning is that living in such volatile times requires quick re-adjustments.

I'm certainly incapable of finding the solution, or rather improvement since there is no ultimate solution, but I am more and more feeling at a loss to understand DKos's defining goal beyond simply the elections.  I'm not criticizing any one in particular but I do believe there has been a major change on the left and even with many moderates the last few months, but we seem to still be in election mode.
