of Anyone coming from a state that has 1/3 of the population of Oregon.......Vet well, vet carefully....Certainly his positions and subsequent votes affect each of us no matter where we live.

We don't have to "settle"---WE need to recruit sooner and more efficiently or run for office ourselves.......
Whatever we do----let's not settle for the "lesser of two evils" anymore.  In reality when you research their votes---what difference does it make these days whether a candidate has a "D" or an "R" beside their name if in the end we simply get the very thing we try to avoid.  "Hope" is a great thing to have and to hold--but we need to stop glossing over Reality with the facade of "Hope". When the "rubber hits the road" and they adopt Wall Street as their constiutuency---the consequences are dire.
It is up to Us to get the folks in there We want--Right now--the candidates are picked by the Elite Corporate Dem Leadership without Our consent and That is what We are left to choose From...and that "ain't right" imo.

I am totally tired of pinning my hopes on any politician. Especially after taking a look at my political compass. I am so far down in liberal-land that there is no f-ing way there will ever be a politician who stands there with me - who has a freaking chance in hell of getter elected.
So I've come to grips with the fact that I will always be voting for, what will be imo, the lesser of evils. It's either that or not vote.

When lots of people show up to vote, Democrats tend to win.

I'm becoming more selective and asking "them" the questions MSM and others will not--It's more about what they Don't say while trying Not to say "it" that tells us where they stand. And a Regular review of their voting record.
"They" don't really care for us calling their offices and asking for detailed rationale behind their votes--whether you agree or disagree..it's good to ask.

Run for office yourself or recruit a solid candidate.
Attend Local Dem meetings and run for office with-in---that way your voice has power, albeit small in the beginning. Coming along with these actions brings Education to those less well informed.
Educating our families, friends and local communities about whats Really going on is seriously lacking and Most essential these days as the "Dumbing Down of Americans" plows forward.

If we are not satisfied....it is upo to us to find the "fight" to change it.
However, I Completely feel and understand what you are saying--I'm fighting it. I don't want to give up--some days it's harder than others not to....
