    Yes, that's the usual way to do it, if you're not going to use a garage door opener, or wireless doorbell (which are better, because more anonymous).

    You open the cellphone case, and jumper into the terminals of the ringer/speaker or buzzer.

      used for a kid's remote controlled car, one you can buy for $19.95.  That's one reason it had to be detonated at close range,.  Also, the battery found is similar to the ones in those control units.

        They were just regular NiMH AA's, though. I use those in my camera.

        I don't know why the FBI is still keeping this secret.
