  •  You clearly, need to read up on (0+ / 0-)

exactly what Euro-American imperialism entails. Are you suggesting that the Mormons in America are an oppressed people? Let's be real here.

    •  And the Danes are well-known imperialists-- (0+ / 0-)

well, if you go back about 1,100 years or so.  But really, no historical wrong is ever really dead in the minds of some.  And everyone associated with the "guilty" party, whether in the past, present, or future, whether military or civilian, whether child or adult, is equally guilty and deserving of punishment, including death.  Boy, that sure makes justice easy.

      •  Again, you need to go study what imperialism (0+ / 0-)

entails. If you think that imperialism no longer exists simply because a country has no colonies, then you have a very narrow view of what imperialism exactly is. Furthermore, Denmark directly supported the Iraqi war, sending in troops.  So yes, Denmark partakes in imperial subjugation of other nations. So, maybe you need to expand your definition of imperialism.

    •  They had good teachers (0+ / 0-)

The Muslim Empire and its successive Caliphates started earlier and lasted for almost a 1000 years on a scale previously never seen based on size and longevity. I think we can agree that oppression, irrespective of its source of power, is a bad thing.
