    I tried watching Netflix's new shop "Hemlock Grove," and it's sorta what would happen if you crossed "Twin Peaks" and "True Blood" ... and did a very bad job of it.

        "Narcos" (2014) - a drama series about notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. GIT is producing one of Netflix’s first original series, Eli Roth’s monster thriller Hemlock Grove, which premieres April 19. Now the U.S.-based production arm of European feature studio Gaumont has teamed with another feature director, Brazilian-born Jose Padilha, for Narcos. The series will chronicle the life and death of Escobar, the ruthless boss of the Medellin Cartel and a known terrorist who was also a congressman, a family man and revered by the poor as a new Robin Hood. Padilha, on whose idea the project is based, is slated to oversee and direct the 13-episode first season, which is eying a 2014 debut on Netflix. Doug Miro & Carlo Bernard (Sorcerer’s Apprentice) are writing. Eric Newman (Children Of Men) will executive produce.

        "Orange Is the New Black" (2013) -  an American Netflix original comedy-drama series, created by Jenji Kohan and will be produced by Lionsgate Television. It is based on Piper Kerman's memoir Orange Is The New Black: My Year In a Women's Prison. The series will star Taylor Schilling, Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Maria Dizzia, Natasha Lyonne and Pablo Schreiber.

        Sense8 (2014) -  a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted, exclusively to its members to watch instantly in late 2014. The 10 episode season one of "Sense8" marks the first foray into television by the Wachowskis, the filmmakers behind Bound, The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, V for Vendetta, Speed Racer and Cloud Atlas, and is the latest project from veteran show runner J. Michael Straczynski, creator of the Hugo Award-winning "Babylon 5" TV series and whose film credits include Changeling, Thor and Underworld Awakening.

        "Turbo: F.A.S.T. (Fast Action Stunt Team)" (late 2013) - Based on the animated Dreamworks film, it's the first original Netflix series for children. Consisting of 56 11-minute episodes, the series will follow Turbo and his crew on their worldwide exploits while mastering new stunts and competing with villains.
