it isn't on the web. It's in print, one of their monthly publications. It is SCARY that they claim this is an Obama issue, that he is on a hunt to ban all weapons. Obama is the voice of the American people. He does NOT want all weapons banned. He's for control of weapons as is more than 90% of America.
What I read is abhorrent and unacceptable. BUT freedom of speech allows the NRA "leaders" to be jackals.  This is no 'conspiracy theory' as the NRA claims. It's COMMON SENSE.
Believe what you NEED to believe. Sooner or later, we all see the truth and for some that takes a lifetime.

Overall, it isn't the membership of the NRA, it's the LEADERSHIP. Jackasses are they.

    •  Well...with me unable to see what you are talking (0+ / 0-)

about, it's obviously going to be a bit difficult to comment on it. That said, it isn't a conspiracy theory to say that Obama wants to ban guns, that is exactly what the AWB does.
Your 90% figure doesn't refer to the bill itself, nor the man that proposed it.

Lets step it back a little bit:
      1) The NRA exists to protect gun rights.
      2) The president proposed plans that would have infringed on those rights.
How else would you have expected them to react? It is simply absurdity to have expected them to act any differently in response to the B/C bill when it was introduced alongside a plan that was specifically intended to ban guns.

Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.
