    We should go in the opposite direction.  More liability when a family member takes a gun which the owner didn't properly lock up.

      I keep my firearms secure. They're either locked up in the vault or on my hip/within arms reach (I carry). My wife has access to her firearms. Are you talking about kids INRE family members?

      responsibility we currently have in place is daffy?

      1. Oopsie they took my gun, watch out it's a dandy, I'm going to the store to get another.

      2. Oopsie my gun went off, haw haw haw, that was close, I will be right back, I'm going to the store to get more ammo.
