    I made that same flight, JFK - Heathrow aboard Pan Am, age 4.

    That was my 2nd flight -
    the first was that morning, Minneapolis - JFK.

    My father was teaching in London for a year & change, so we spent from late 1967 into 1969 living in London.

    I remember visiting the pilots in the cockpit. I still have the little model airplane they gave me in a box somewhere.
    A nice lady was complimenting my mother on how well behaved the two of us were (I was 4, my sister 6). I chimed in to the effect that: "Of course we're well behaved, we have our Sunday clothes on. We cannot misbehave wearing our Sunday Clothes."
