My internet connection was out for over four days! starting Saturday morning. AT&Turd area outage. I gave them my best area outrage.

Other stuff is going on too. I have a zillion medical appts. lined up. Teeth, eyeball, innards. Frankly, my body is falling apart. Dang, I should have gotten myself frozen ten years ago while I was still in good shape.

But finally some decent rain, over three inches in the past few days. I'd been squeaking by on less than an inch a month for a long, long time.

Here's a pic I decided not to use on Saturday. A little too Addams family. It's creepy and it's spooky....yeah, well, it kinda is. welso, this is looking toward the front of the house. :)

Notice I did mulch the paths.

    What about the climate cliff?

Mine is blooming now as well and the scent is intoxicating. Mine isn't nearly as jungle-like though! Are you sure there's a house back there?

Four days without service seems excessive; why was your service out for so long? Time Warner gets an earful from me whenever something doesn't work the way it should. Gawd knows we pay out the nose for all this technology so the least they could do is keep it updated and make it reliable neither of which they seem capable of or interested in doing. It's beyond pathetic what we're expected to put up with regarding cable/internet/phone services. I'm glad you gave 'em hell.

Here's hoping your medical appts go well and the docs are able to cure and patch-up and fix whatever ails you!

I don't like to use the conf. word and it came from China anyway. That common name is firmly established, but it needs an update.

First, AT&T claimed it was just me, then it was an area outage that would be fixed by the end of the day, then they needed two more days, never any explanation of what happened. When it finally came back on and I asked for a bill adjustment (that must have been my eighth call to them) they claimed there was absolutely no record of an outage. grrrr

The docs always say 'This isn't uncommon for someone your age.' sigh

by using "conf." I thought on first read (before remembering j's previous post and question" that meant Confused Jasmine.

And thought - well, that's a kinda cool name.  heh

AT&T, but with regard to phone service.  In all, I had no phone service for about 2 weeks.  Aside from the run-around, they would make appointments and just not show up for them.

When they finally fixed my phone service, they knocked out my neighbors' service in the process (phone, internet and TV).  The lady of the house (a 60-something, petite woman who probably only weighed 100 lbs when she was 9 mos pregnant) went out to the guys in the truck to tell them what they did, and they told her she had to call the service line and set an appointment for repair.

Well, this lady is NOT afraid to stand up for herself (and has a black belt in karate to back it up!!), and she gave them a royal earful.  By the time she was done, they had her services back on and were groveling at her feet ...  and they were even profusely apologetic to me, too!  LOL.

Thankfully, I don't have to deal with AT&T anymore.  Pulled the plug on that service earlier this year when I got a smart phone and went mobile-only.

      when you took that pix??

I love it!  ooooh.  I wish I had enough space for a path through greenery!!

'stix... I've given up on fighting against my body NOT cooperating by always being healthy, sound and whole.

looks sooo much better than my boring, suburban path ... and probably smells sooo much better, too.  :-)

Actually, mine is almost as colorful as it gets, with tons of spring bulbs blooming and the azalea buds starting to color up.

I'm glad you're having your pieces parts attended to.  I finally saved up enough money to have an eye exam and get new glasses ... first time in about 8 years.  I can't wait to be able to see well again!

But i'm not getting the Adams Family reference!  It doesn't looks spooky to me at all.  In fact, it looks very welcoming.  Who could walk that path and not draw those flowers near to drink their fragrance fully in?

If you don't already do this, bring a hard copy of questions to each appointment.  Doctors have a way of dominating and redirecting the conversation, i've found, and a list helps to ensure all your concerns are addressed.

      May Spring rejuvenate us all!

with questions, symptoms and maybe related other medical stuff. The eyeball thing explanation from the doc was a big word mumbo-jumbo (translation: old people stuff). I was thrilled I didn't need laser beams, which I fully expected, but I have to have two more follow-ups to make sure it doesn't get worse (small chance) and affect the retina.
